A man chased two burglars after he caught them red-handed trying to steal his flatscreen TV.

Police spokesperson Dwayne Caines explained that the incident unfolded at a home in Mullet Bay Road, St. George's, around 12.30 p.m on Wednesday.

"The complainant stated that he returned home and noticed that two individuals were inside his home. He opened the door and noticed they were attempting to steal his TV. When they saw him, one of the men left and the other confronted him.

"The complainant gave chase and the remaining suspect ran east along Mullet Bay Road where he made good his escape."

The first burglar is believed to have run off north towards the Railway Trail. He's described as brown-skinned, aged 18 to 20, around 5ft 10ins to 6ft. He had brown eyes and was wearing a red "doo-rag" on his head, a longsleeve shirt, blue jeans and sneakers.

The man who ran off along Mullet Bay Road is described as having caramel coloured skin, aged 18 to 20, around 5ft 6ins to 5ft 9ins tall and of slim build. He was wearing a green doo-rag on his head, a grey shirt and blue jeans and sneakers.
