Employees at the company gave the items to the Hands of Love community service organisation, which delivers groceries and clothing to people in need.

Rollin Nathan, CableVision's sales manager, said: "We hope that our food donation will put a smile on the faces of those families in need and offer them a more enjoyable holiday."

Fern Wade, administrator of Hands of Love, who was given a CableVision community service award in 2005, said: "Many people overlook the growing number of needy families on this beautiful Island, but the reality is that a large number of families are struggling. We are fortunate to have the assistance of CableVision for a third consecutive year and their donations have provided meals for over 300 families."
