A husband and wife have appeared in Magistrates' Court on charges that they knowingly issued false and misleading documents.

David and Antoinette Bolden, of Hamilton Parish, who run Emerald Financial Capital International Ltd, are said to have committed the offence between September 20, 2008, and October 20, 2008. They deny the charges.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner set bail at $5,000 and adjourned the matter until March 29 when the Boldens will appear for trial.
