A former national cricketer accused of attacking a man with a stun gun had the charge dismissed yesterday.
George O'Brien Jr. was told he was free to leave Magistrates' Court after Crown counsel Takiyah Burgess offered no evidence against him.
The 24-year-old had been charged with using a stun gun to attack alleged love rival Tahir Shawki April 28 of last year.
Mr. O'Brien Jr., of St. David's, was formerly a popular fast bowler with the Bermuda National Team and has played for Police.
