Driver hospitalised after crashing car

A 36-year-old crashed his car into a wall outside the Bermuda Aquarium Museum and Zoo and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.

"Details about what occurred are unclear at this time, however it appears that a car was travelling along North Shore Road when the driver, a St. George's man, lost control and collided with a wall," a Police spokesperson said.

The driver injured his hand and his left leg. He was treated at KEMH and released.

Thirteen accidents were reported over the weekend, seven of which resulted in injury. Police also arrested two individuals on suspicion of driving while impaired, while five vehicles were reported stolen.
