A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after crashing his car into a wall on Middle Road, Paget.

The driver, from Paget, was not injured, but his car was extensively damaged in the accident near the junction with Chapel Road at 5.10 a.m. on Saturday.

Middle Road, Paget, was the scene of a second crash, yesterday, when a 19-year-old motorcyclist from Warwick suffered an injury to his right hand after colliding with a car.

That accident happened at 1.20 p.m. as the vehicles travelled in opposing directions near the junction with Edgehill Drive. The 40-year-old Paget woman driving the car was not injured.
