Flat screen TV, liquor stolen in burglary
Burglars got away with electronics and alcohol from a house in Southampton this week.
The break-in took place at a property in Tribe Road No. Three between Monday and Wednesday evening. A flat screen television, laptop, multimedia player and several bottles of alcohol were stolen. The Police are warning residents to remain vigilant for burglars.
A spokesman said: "We are reminding all residents to keep their valuables locked away and out of sight, ideally in a safe.
"In addition, the serial numbers of all 'big ticket' items, such as jewellery and electronics, should be written down and secured in a safe or separate secure location. If these items are stolen and later recovered, the information can then be used to identify them. "Finally, residents should make sure all windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time."
Anyone who notices any suspicious behaviour should call 295-0011.
