Government e-mail system was down
Government e-mail addresses and its website were down on Monday and Tuesday this week because of a spam blocker component.
A spokesperson also asked that anyone who sent an e-mail between Monday until Tuesday mid-afternoon should resend their message.
"E-mails addressed to gov.bm e-mail accounts sent during Monday and up until mid afternoon on Tuesday may not have been successfully delivered," the spokesperson said.
"Out of an abundance of caution anyone who wishes to confirm delivery of e-mails sent during the period mentioned above should resend the message to guarantee delivery.
"If you received a message from the Government Secure Content Manager indicating your e-mail could not be delivered then please resend the message and it will be processed successfully.
"While e-mail service has been restored work on the gov.bm website is ongoing and will be restored as soon as practical."
