A celebrity look-alike party for breast cancer awareness is being held tomorrow at City Hall.

Along with six celebrity impersonators ranging from Tina Turner to Madonna, Bermuda's self-titled "female illusionist", Sybil Barrington, has teamed up with the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre (BCH) to raise funds for a cancer information centre.

"BCH has paired with the Canadian and American Cancer Centres to provide an information service for Bermudian cancer patients and their families," said Pauline Girling, the Marketing and Fundraising Director of BCH.

"In Bermuda we do not have the same access to information that people in Canada and the United States enjoy. This service will provide a venue for recently diagnosed cancer victims to ask questions and learn about their options in their critical time."

While Ms Barrington had originally planned to stage a single show on Saturday night, she recently decided to hold the Friday event to help support the BCH.

"The fact that Sybil and her girlfriends have come out to support us is fantastic," said Ms Girling.

"It is important to point out that the show will be completely different than the show she has planned for Saturday night. While the event has quite a serious undertone it will be lots of fun and a great opportunity to get together and have a girls night out for a great cause."

The show starts at 8pm on Friday October 23. Tickets for the event are $55 for general admission and $75 for vip. Tickets are available at bdatix.com, the istore, and the City Hall box office from 6 p.m. on Friday.
