Editor's note:

Puisne Judge Carlisle Greaves yesterday admonished The Royal Gazette for stating that the names of two people might arise during the case against Cervio Cox. The two names, which were published, were read along with others, in open court to the jury pool by the prosecution and no order was made restricting identification.

However, Mr. Justice Greaves yesterday said the decision by this newspaper to publish the two names, and the Bermuda Broadcasting Company to name other people, was incorrect and said he may find the two operations in contempt of court if an apology was not published or broadcast.

Had Mr. Justice Greaves issued an order not to print the names, The Royal Gazette would have complied and apologises for any difficulties unintentionally caused.
