M3 Wireless donates $2,500 to Heart Foundation
A telecommunications company has donated $2,500 to the Bermuda Heart Foundation.
M3 Wireless held a Heart Smart Month BlackBerry Promotion last month, donating $5 from the sale of every BlackBerry Smartphone to the charity.
The wireless company then topped up the amount to a total $2,500.
"M3 was very happy to partner with the Bermuda Heart Foundation during Heart Smart Month to help them promote heart health and healthy living," said CEO Lloyd Fray.
"M3 is a local company that has been operating in Bermuda for over 20 years. We are invested in this community and want to help make sure that all Bermudians live long, healthy lives."
Simone Barton, Bermuda Heart Foundation executive director, said: "The Bermuda Heart Foundation is looking to open the Island's first Prevention Centre dedicated to reducing the levels of heart disease.
"We are very pleased to have M3 Wireless as one of our Prevention Partners."
M3 also partnered with HOTT 107.5 to give away five Bermuda Heart Foundation Walking Kits to promote the 'Island Walk' campaign.
