A man who is accused of throwing gasoline on a relative and attempting to set him on fire was charged in Magistrates' Court yesterday with causing grievous bodily harm.

Robert Smith, who was said by Police to have tossed petrol on Benjamin Smith on June 25 in Pembroke, was remanded in custody without entering a plea.

His case will be heard on July 12.
