A Warwick man was arrested after his car flipped over after crashing into a utility pole in Southampton. At 3.45 a.m. on Sunday, Police attended the accident on Middle Road, near the junction with Church Road.

A Police spokesman said: "It appears that a car was travelling west on Middle Road when the driver, a 41-year-old man, lost control and collided with a utility pole, causing the vehicle to overturn, ending up on it's roof.

"The man was not injured, however he was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and detained after failing the alco-analyser test."
