A man was beaten with fists feet and helmets at Bernard's Park in a daylight brawl Saturday morning.

According to witnesses, a group of men rode onto the park on motorcycles, attacked the man, and rode off again, leaving the victim with non-life threatening injuries.

A number of people, including children, witnessed the attack as a children's summer camp fair was to be held.

The fair was postponed in the aftermath of the beating, but a second event scheduled for later that day went ahead.
