with murdering Brownlow Tucker Smith Place.

Randal Ellsworth Leroy Walker, wearing a pressed white dress shirt and jeans, stood quietly before Senior Magistrate Will Francis as Crown Counsel Khamisi M. Tokunbo entered the charge. Details of the offence were not made public.

He was remanded in custody pending a bail application by lawyer Delroy Duncan.

It is understood Mr. Place, of March Folly Road, Pembroke died on Saturday night after becoming involved in a fistfight at a residence on March Folly Road. No weapons were believed to be involved.

Initial reports indicated Mr. Place fell and struck his head on a table. He was rushed by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

It is believed Mr. Place, who only recently returned to the Island after spending several years in the US, was living with his father, also named Brownlow.
