Man charged with reckless driving

A 40-year-old accused of injuring Opposition leader Kim Swan and his wife in a traffic collision appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday.
Jonathan Guishard was charged with causing grievous bodily harm to Cindy Swan, and actual bodily harm to her husband and another woman, Lee Ann Harvey, by driving recklessly.
The North Shore Road, Pembroke resident was further charged with driving with a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit.
The accident occurred on North Shore Road at around 2 a.m. on July 11.
Guishard, represented by Mark Cave, was not asked to plea as the matter is indictable and must be heard in Supreme Court.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo released Guishard on $5,000 bail. He will reappear for mention on October 13.
