Man is accused of five thefts and one robbery
of robbery and five of theft totaling more than $2,500.
Antoine Jermaine Bean, 23, of Coral Acres, was not required to enter a plea.
Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis charged Bean with robbing Amanda Stovell of $950 on April 21 and stealing $240 from the Modern Mart on March 31, $50 from White's on April 4, $1,200 from Maximart on April 15, $60 from Arnold's store on April 20, and a purse from Roma Swan on April 21, the contents of which were valued at $50.
Mr. Francis set the matter down for mention on May 26, and bailed Bean in the sum of $5,000 with two like sureties. He ordered Bean to report to Somerset Police Station twice a week, to surrender all travel documents, and to observe a 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew.
Crown Counsel Mr. Brian Calhoun is prosecuting, and lawyer Mr. Delroy Duncan represents Bean.
