in Magistrates' Court to nine months in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of possession of a crack pipe, wilful damage, unlawful entry, and theft.

Senior Magistrate Will Francis was told Andrew G. Arorash, of no fixed address, was stopped by a Police patrol on Court Street on June 11 and two crack pipes containing cocaine residue were discovered in his possession.

Arorash was also arrested for wilful damage after kicking out the window of Kit'n Caboodle in the Bermudiana Arcade on June 18.

He told Police at the time of his arrest he was angry after failing to find food in a trash can outside a nearby Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet.

Prosecutor Sgt. Phil Taylor told the court that Arorash, on June 29, unlawfully entered the house of an acquaintance while she was sleeping and stole a wallet containing $250. He dropped the wallet outside the house where it could be easily found but made off with the money.

Arorash faced an earlier charge of possessing a crack pipe when a Police patrol observed him on May 9 talking to a "well-known drug dealer''. He was subsequently searched and the pipe was discovered.

In a rushed, almost incoherent voice Arorash told the court he had spent time at St. Brendan's but was no longer receiving injections (of medication). He did not elaborate.

"I think the fairest thing I can do is look at this all together,'' said Mr.

Francis before sentencing Arorash to nine months for the unlawful entry and theft, three months concurrent for the wilful damage, and six weeks concurrent for each crack pipe.
