A missing teenager has been found safe and well. The Bermuda Police Service yesterday thanked the public for their assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 15-year-old Aliyah Philpott.

A spokesperson said: "Police have received confirmation that Aliyah Philpott is now safe and sound. We would like to thank the public for their help in finding Aliyah Philpott of Pembroke."

The teenager went missing at 8.15 a.m. on Monday in her Berkeley Institute uniform. Concerns were raised by an email circulating the Island which expressed fears the teenager had been kidnapped.
