A 64-year-old Hamilton Parish man was injured when his bike crashed into a stationary bus on Palmetto Road, in Devonshire.

The man was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

A Police spokesman said the accident happened near the junction with Border Lane North, on Thursday at 6.30 p.m.

Neither the bus driver or any of the bus passengers were reported injured, however, both the bus and cycle had moderate damage.

Meanwhile in a separate incident, three vehicles were involved in a collision on Trimingham Road, in Paget, near the north roundabout on Thursday at 5 p.m.

While details of the crash are still unclear at this time, the Police spokesman confirmed no one was injured.
