Pedestrian and bike in collision

A St. George's woman was struck by a motorcycle while crossing the road yesterday.Police said at around 9 a.m., the 32-year-old stepped off a bus on North Shore Road near the Junction with Loyal Hill and went to cross the road when she was struck.A Police spokesman said: "The pedestrian apparently sustained minor injuries and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.

A Police spokesman said: "The pedestrian apparently sustained minor injuries and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.
"The rider of the motorcycle, a 49-year-old Devonshire man, sustained cuts to his left leg and arm. He was treated at the scene and declined further medical treatment."
