A jeep driver crashed and drove off leaving a 16-year-old girl motorcyclist injured at the scene.

The black jeep collided with the bike on South Road, Paget, near its junction with Stovell Lane, at about 8.25 a.m. yesterday, leaving the Sandys teenager with cuts and abrasions to her back and front end damage to her bike.

Police are now hunting the jeep driver, who they say initially stopped his vehicle and got out, before climbing back in again and driving away. He is described as white and in his late 40s.
