Those lazy summer days are over it's back-to-school time!

This week, schools welcome back their pupils as the new academic year begins and we want to make sure the moment is recorded.

So we want you to send your back-to-school pictures to us.

It might be the proud new pupil in their smart new uniform, it might be your teenaged child going back for a year of important exams or, of course, it might also be the tearful mom seeing off her child to school for the first time.

If you send your pictures to photos@royalgazette.bm we can post them all on our Spotted on the Rock site and we will also compile a photo slide show of the moment to post on our website, www.theroyalgazette.com.

So, if you are not already planning to, before you head out on that school run or as your child heads up the school steps, stop to remember your camera or cell phone then take a second to record that back-to-school moment.
