Social services agencies to hold second meeting scheduled for Monday
Social service agencies will meet Monday to discuss problems facing the community.
This is the second time the Inter Agency Committee has held such a meeting.
According to Lauren Trott, IAC Chairperson: "The objectives of the meeting next Monday, will be to understand the successes enjoyed by each of the organisations represented, to identify the present problems in the community and begin to understand and identify where the gaps in service exist.
"We want to have all social service agencies and organisations in Bermuda represented.
"The types of organisations we want to attend include, church outreach ministries, social and sports club representatives and any person or agency that is providing help and support to children and families."
The event will take place on Monday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess. Any organisation that has not already signed up to attend should call the Centre on Philanthropy at 236-7706 for more information.
