Visiting cruise ship the Costa Atlantica ran into mechanical problems yesterday, causing it to temporarily lose steering.
At around 1.10 p.m., shortly after leaving Dockyard, the ship encountered steering problems in the North Channel.
Tugboats Powerful and Faithful were sent to aid the ship, but the Costa Atlantica was able to regain control and continue on its trip to Cape Canaveral, Florida.
