Miss Pearline Dunkley was congratulated on being the first local Chartered Institute of Bankers member to qualify as a CIB associate.

Bermuda Institute was praised for the elegance of its students at its Valentine's Day debutantes banquet.

Newly-ordained members of the local New Testament Church of God were honoured, as was Mr. Albion Burns, recently retired from custodial service at Cedar Grove school.

The Maritime Museum was congratulated on its Bermuda Journal of Archaeology and Maritime History.
