Tropical Storm Tomas should be at its closest point to the Island tomorrow at 7 a.m.According to a Bermuda Weather Service meteorologist, the system will be 243 nautical miles to our south east, with winds speeds of 25 knots when it reaches its closest point to Bermuda.

Last night at 5 p.m. the storm was 443 miles to our south-west and travelling to the north-east. It had maximum sustained winds of 50 knots, with gusts of 60.
