Two injured after three car collision

Three SUVs collided on Monday in Paget.The accident happened at 3.50 p.m. at the junction of Middle Road and Cobbs Hill Road.One driver was heading south on Cobbs Hill Road, another was travelling west on Middle Road while the third was driving east.

The accident happened at 3.50 p.m. at the junction of Middle Road and Cobbs Hill Road.

One driver was heading south on Cobbs Hill Road, another was travelling west on Middle Road while the third was driving east.

A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said: "The driver of the SUV travelling along Cobbs Hill Road lost control and entered Middle Road. As a result all three vehicles collided."

The westbound driver on Middle Road, a 47-year-old Paget woman, sustained a neck injury. The eastbound driver, a 54-year-old Sandys woman, sustained a neck injury and injured her right arm.

Both drivers were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital by ambulance.

The driver of the SUV travelling on Cobbs Hill Road, a 24-year-old Warwick woman, was not injured.
