Bermudians planning to get a good spot for this year's Bermuda Day Parade are being asked not to use rope or barriers to reserve a place.
While viewing 'camps' can be set up any time after midnight on May 24, the Corporation of Hamilton warned that ropes or chains could trip people and cause injury.
Corporation secretary Edward Benevides, said: "Safety is our number one concern on Bermuda Day.
"We want to ensure everyone has an enjoyable holiday watching the half-marathon and the parade."
The Corporation is also asking the public not to set up tents or anything else that could stop movement on the sidewalk or the streets.
