'Welcome home' for Mirrors programme thirty
Thirty young men completed a residential programme at the Willowbank Hotel and Resort as part of the Mirrors project.
They will now enter the next phase, a nine-month programme to continue their development in monthly action learning seminars and receiving one-to-one advice from a volunteer life coach.
Social Rehabilitation Minister Dale Butler and Premier Ewart Brown were in attendance at a welcome home ceremony for the participants at CedarBridge Academy's cafeteria on Saturday evening.
Mr. Butler said in a statement: "The first group of 18- to 21-year-olds have experienced a ride, one which will continue to have them move forward with power and a new sense of self worth, accountable for the past but not determined by it.
"We are improving the lives of Bermuda residents. We are developing human potential through participation and these young men are better equipped to shape a better future."
