The public has until Saturday to submit feedback on the Blueprint for Reform in Education.

The five-year strategic plan was released at the beginning of April and puts into play seven recommendations from the Hopkins Report of 2007.

Education Minister El James has encouraged the public to submit their opinions and concerns about the plan via e-mail or by mail.

He said at a press conference last month: "Once all consultation is complete, we will review the blueprint, make any appropriate changes and then dedicate ourselves to implementing the plan and ensuring that public education in Bermuda becomes something our community can be proud of."

The Ministry has also hosted a series of public meetings on the five-year plan where Ministry officials have answered many questions by concerned parents, teachers and members of the public.

The meetings were held at Whitney Institute, CedarBridge Academy and TN Tatem Middle School.
