Alleged Loyal Hill burglar in court

Alleged burglar Winslow (Scaley) Williams who was set upon last week in the Loyal Hill area get escorted by Police after appearing in Magistrates' Court.
A man attacked by angry residents who accused him of being a thief appeared in Magistrates' Court on burglary charges yesterday.
Police found Winslow "Scaley" Williams unconscious on Foothills Road, Devonshire, last Thursday after he was reportedly beaten by a group of men. The 43-year-old was charged with attempting to unlawfully enter two homes on November 4 on Loyal Hill and North Ridge Crescent.
Williams appeared in court with injuries still visible on his face. He sat with his head in his hands until his name was called out. Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner ordered him to be remanded in custody for mention on November 23.
