A Hamilton Parish man sustained multiple injuries after the bike he was riding collided with the back of a car.around 7 p.m. on Tuseday in Hamilton Parish near Cottage Hill Road.

According to the report, both vehicles were travelling east on North Shore Road when the car came to a stop and the rider, who was unable to stop in time, hit the back of it.

The 17-year-old sustained a swollen right wrist, a cut above his right eye and abrasions to his right leg. The driver of the car, a 52-year-old Hamilton Parish man was not injured.
