The Ministry of Education has taken the precaution of keeping students at some schools inside — and members of the public out — following three shooting incidents in the last 24 hours.
Education Secretary Kevin Monkman confirmed that CedarBridge Academy, Harrington Sound Primary and Victor Scott Primary have been advised by Police to take the precaution to ensure their students safety.
The Royal Gazette also understands Berkeley Institute has taken similar steps.
Students will be allowed leave at the regular time and parents have been advised not to panic.
