Breaking News: UBP names new shadow cabinet
Senator Jeanne Atherden is now the leader of the Upper House for the United Bermuda Party.
The Opposition announced today that she has replaced Michael Dunkley, who will continue to sit on the Senate.
The United Bermuda Party released the following statement this morning.
Please find the Shadow Cabinet as of November 4, 2010 which also reflects the new ministries introduced by Premier — half of our portfolios held have been to be changed to reflect these new ministries:
Kim Swan: Party Leader, Shadow Minister of Environment, Planning, Infrastructure Support;
Trevor Moniz: Deputy Party & House Leader, Shadow Attorney General & Shadow Justice Minister;
Grant Gibbons: Shadow Minister of Education;
John Barritt: Shadow Minister of Public Information Services, Public Administrative Reform & Constitutional Affairs;
Bob Richards: Shadow Minister of Finance;
Pat Gordon-Pamplin: Shadow Minister of Public Works & Public Accounts Controls;
Cole Simons: Opposition Whip, Shadow Minister of Tourism & Business Development;
Louise Jackson: Shadow Minister of Health & Seniors;
Charlie Swan: Shadow Minister of Transport.
