Burglaries across the Island

Burglers stole cash and assorted items from a home, a business and a boat in separate incidents across the Island.
Between 11.30 p.m. on Saturday and just before noon on Sunday, someone took cash and a Canon digital camera from a business on Front Street.
At around 5.25 p.m. on Sunday, Police received a report of a burglary at a boat docked at Ordnance Island, St. George's.
A Police spokesperson said: "The culprit stole a quantity of cash and two Ipods, one black, the other white."
At the other end of the Island, cash and a BlackBerry were stolen from a Railway Trail, Southampton, home between midnight and 5 p.m.
In total, eight burglaries were reported throughout the Island this weekend.
