A prisoner was charged with having heroin and cannabis inside Westgate Correctional Facility.

Allan Daniels, 31, pleaded not guilty to one count of possession of heroin and one count of possession of cannabis in an increased penalty zone, the prison.

Daniels was remanded into custody until his trial in August.

He is represented by Larry Mussenden.
