Senate Opposition Leader Michael Dunkley has asked Government to reveal how much the Love Festival has cost taxpayers.

Shadow Tourism Minister, Senator Dunkley, tabled the following Parliamentary Questions at the Senate on Wednesday, asking Junior Minister for Transport and Tourism, Senator Marc Bean, to respond.

The questions were:

• Would the Honourable Member please provide a detailed list of all promotional events supported in the last two years by the Department of Tourism or its vendors at Government's expense, including the event, the date, the location, the type of support, the total cost to Government and the purpose of the support?

• Would the Honourable Member please provide the total number of visitors that attended the Love Fest in 2008 and 2009 and paid for their own tickets and costs?
