Two men swam ashore after their boat began to sink off of Harlem Heights, in Hamilton Parish, yesterday.

The Bermuda Maritime Operations received a 'mayday' call at 2.55 p.m. yesterday.

The Police Marine Unit responded to the call and found the two men on the boat at the time had managed to swim ashore and were "apparently uninjured" a spokesman said.

Details of the incident are not yet clear and neither Police or the Bermuda Maritime Operations could say why the boat sank.
