Police issue 57 traffic tickets

Police continued their drive to enforce traffic regulations yesterday – issuing 57 tickets for offences ranging from not wearing seatbelts to no insurance.
The Roads Policing Unit was out from 6.40 a.m. to 8.35 a.m. at locations including Paget traffic lights and Spurling Hill Junction, Pembroke. Officers also monitored along South Road in the western parishes.
Tickets issued were:
• Seat Belt Offence - 17
• Disobeying a Stop Sign - 21
• Due Care - nine
• No Vehicle Licence - two
• No Insurance - two
• No Driver's Licence - two
• Speed - four
