Police probe two sudden deaths

Autopsies have been planned after the discovery of two bodies yesterday morning.A 38-year-old man was found around 10.40 a.m. on Verdmont Valley Close, Smith's. Earlier, a 55.-year-old Devonshire man was found to be unresponsive by a family member at a Tee Street, Devonshire address at 9.30 p.m.An on call physician declared the Devonshire man dead at 10.10 a.m. In the Verdmont Valley Close incident, an on call physician pronounced the man dead at 12.05 p.m.

A Police spokesman said last night "it appears that the body had been there for some time before being discovered by a member of the public".
No further details or identification of the men was released pending the notification of next of kin.
