Police will be watching the roads

Police will be out this weekend checking on road users and pulling over anyone they find breaking the rules of the road.

In a reminder to the public, the Bermuda Police Service said it will have officers on high visibility patrols across the Island.

Teams from the Roads Policing Unit and CAT units will be positioned at various locations to enforce road laws and will, in particular, be targetting offenders who are speeding, riding with unbuckled helmet straps, cars with illegal tint on windows and with illegal licence plates.

• An investigation is underway into a reported break-in at a home in Olive Bank, Warwick on Thursday, which took place sometime between 7.30 a.m. and 12. 30 p.m.
