A 21-year-old Paget man sustained a broken leg in a road accident in Paget.

According to Police the accident happened at 12 noon, on Tuesday, on Harbour Road, near the junction with Manse Road.

The man, who was heading east on a motorcycle, was in collision with a car driven by a 37-year-old Smith's Parish woman as vehicles tried to get round a stationary truck parked in the eastbound lane.

The man was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment to a broken leg while the Smith's Parish woman was uninjured.
