Royal Gazette launches live online platform

Want to follow all the action live? Want to keep right up to date on the debates? Do you want to join in with the conversation?

Well now you can through The Royal Gazette's website.

We've introduced a new platform, unique to the Island, which allows us to give real-time commentary on sporting matches or debates and which allows you to not only express your views but also discuss them with other people.

Already more than 1,500 people have used it following Josh Ball's running commentary on Bermuda's matches in the ICC Americas Championship. He'll also be reporting live today on Bermuda's crunch cricket game with Canada which is due to start at 10.30 a.m. at the National Sports Centre.

Tomorrow we'll bring you the Hogges game against Ocean City at the BAA Field, which kicks off at 8 p.m., and on Saturday we'll bring you Bermuda vs Cayman and Bermuda vs Bahamas in the group stages of a Twenty20 tournament at the NSC. Match times are 10.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m.

On Sunday at 10.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. we'll bring you the Twenty20 semi-finals and final at the NSC as well as the Bermuda Hogges second game against Ocean City which starts at 6 p.m. at BAA Field.

And how do you get the coverage? Simple. Go to our home page www.theroyalgazette.com and click on the logo at the top. That will take you straight through to the site, which you can join at any time and leave and come back as many times as you want.

And of course, don't forget that as well as getting news in print or online you can also get it through our Facebook or Twitter sites.
