Taxi and bike in collision

A motorist was injured last Friday when his cycle was in collision with a taxi in Pembroke.The accident took place at the junction of Dundonald Street and Brunswick Street around 8 p.m. It appears the taxi was traveling west on Dundonald Street and the motorcycle was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided.The motorist, a 20-year-old Warwick man, had injuries to his legs and cuts and scratches to his body and had to be taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment. The taxi driver, a 74-year-old Southampton man, was not injured; but both vehicles had moderate front end damage.
