Cabinet Minister Neletha Butterfield helped kick off a fund-raising day for a charity for homeless teen mothers at the weekend.

Ms Butterfield, Minister of Culture and Social Rehabilitation, received the first Teen Haven tag of the day for her donation from little N'kaijae Simmons.

The annual tag day, in Hamilton, Sandys, and St. George's, is one of the main fund-raisers for Teen Haven, a charity which has been offering temporary accommodation, counselling, parenting and life skills training and educational opportunities to homeless teen mothers and young women since 1977.
