The Post Master General for Bermuda George Outerbridge spoke at the weekly Hamilton Rotarion luncheon yesterday.
In his speech Mr. Outerbridge discussed the problems, including a heavier reliance on the internet, facing the Post Office, which operates at a defecit.
Also covered were the inititiatives taken by Mr. Outerbridge to secure the future of the Post Office and the Post Office's changes to their delivery system.
Some of the plans for the post office include an electronic registered email service, an alliance with local shipping firm BEST.
