The crew competed in two races they won one event and had tons of adventure.

Adventurers of Bermuda: Diane Brangman hugs her 17-year-old daughter Rayanne Brangman after the Bermuda Spirit tied up at Penno’s Wharf, St. George’s yesterday. Below, Education Minister Randolph Horton congratulated the crew for their performance during the month-long voyage to North America as family members and other dignitaries – including Social Rehabilitation Minister Dale Butler, acting Education permanent secretary Ellen-Kate Horton, executive director of the Bermuda Sloop Foundation Malcolm Kirkland and Opposition Senator Kenneth Bascome. At the lower left is former Mayor of St. George’s, E. Michael Jones. The Spirit of Bermuda took part in two Tall Ship races and won one.
