A 33-year-old Pembroke man was injured in a single-vehicle traffic accident early yesterday.The man sustained serious head and facial injuries when his motorcycle struck the sidewalk at the junction of Lane Hill and Cavendish Road, Pembroke at about 2.15am.A spokeswoman for King Edward VII Memorial Hospital reported the man’s condition as stable. She said he was being transferred from the emergency department to a general ward. Police have asked anyone with information to call Pc Minyell Long on 295-0011.
