Security system gifted to the Sunshine League

KPMG has donated $19,000 to the Sunshine League for a new security system for the residents and staff.

Sunshine League board chair Zakiya Johnson thanked the accounting firm, saying that security at the children's home was something that needed to be addressed.

“We are grateful that KPMG has chosen to make the safety and well-being of our young people a priority through this generous donation,” she said.

Close to 30 young people have been placed with the league for care and protection over the last year.
